Successful kick-off event for the «Praxiszirkel für Werkstoffanalyse»

The Hightech Zentrum (HTZ) Aargau, based in Brugg AG, sees itself as a contact point for SMEs when it comes to innovation consulting. Since innovative materials and material quality offer a good opportunity to differentiate themselves from competitors, the analysis of materials is of crucial importance for manufacturing companies. For this reason, the HTZ has set up a practical circle on the subject of materials analysis, the kick-off event of which took place on 24 September 2020 in the HTZ premises in Brugg. This event format supports the exchange of information and the cooperation between experts from industry and university. It is aimed primarily at materials scientists, chemists, physicists and engineers who work with modern analytical methods and innovative materials. Suisse-TP was also represented with a lecture at this kick-off event. CTO Benedikt Moser used concrete practical examples to explain to the participants the challenges facing a modern analytical service provider today and the technologies that Suisse-TP has at its disposal. SMEs and partner companies benefit here from the fact that they can find both a competent team and extensive equipment under one roof, which means that even complex questions can be answered in a short time.

Further speakers were Dr. Roger Herger (Thyssen Krupp Presta AG) with a presentation on applications of 3-D material analysis, Christian Grünzweig (Anaxam, Park Innovaare), as well as Marcus Morstein from the Hightech Zentrum, who also moderated the event.

The lively discussion following the presentations was a clear indication that questions about materials analysis are among the most exciting topics of today's business world for many companies and institutions. It can be assumed that many more practical circles on this topic will follow and we can already be curious which speakers Marcus Morstein will invite for the next event.
