Optimization up to the desired properties

Case Study

The video shows an anodized aluminium surface over which a colored liquid runs. This surface was then coated with a SolGel lacquer to create a surface with lower surface tension. As a result, the liquid runs off better, as can be seen in the middle section of the video, leaving hardly any traces. We then used this to develop the aluminum surface shown in the video on the right. The result is an optimized version which has an even better surface tension and thus significantly reduces adhesion.
